What to Expect
You don’t need to worry about perfect behaviour, perfect outfits, or perfect smiles.
During your session, I’ll gently guide you into moments rather than poses. walking together, playing with your children, cuddling your baby, or simply being close.
Some images may include everyone looking at the camera, especially at the beginning. From there, we’ll ease into movement and connection, allowing genuine moments to naturally unfold.
Children are free to be themselves. Parents are encouraged to slow down, breathe, and enjoy the time together.
What is a Fresh 48 session?
A Fresh 48 session takes place within the first 24-48 hours after your baby is born, while you’re still in hospital.
There is no posing, no pressure, and no expectations. Just a gentle documentation of those fleeting first moments as they naturally unfold.
These sessions are quiet, respectful, and completely led by you and your baby. From tiny details and first cuddles to siblings meeting their new baby, everything is captured just as it happens.
Fresh 48 sessions are booked in advance and held on-call around your due date to allow flexibility once your baby arrives. A booking deposit is required to secure availability.
Last-minute Fresh 48 enquiries are always welcome, and I will do my best to accommodate where possible. Due to the short nature of hospital says, availability cannot always be guaranteed at short notice.
